By their design, sales managers and field engineers have always spent most of their time away from their desks. But now they're followed by a wider variety of staff and administrators who follow the principle whose job is not where you're headed, and it's what you do. The transition into a system of distributed workers gives employers and staff a range of benefits but needs a transformation in the working community. The change to tangible efficiency is not true.
